Knitting the Future Craftsmanship and new technologies for a synergistic collaboration in the fashion system. From June 28 to 30, an unmissable event with innovation to experiment and create unique garments using sustainable materials.
At the urban laboratory's stand, the artist Matteo Thiela, known for his textile and material experiments, will bring to life uniquely designed garments using an industrial production method he developed himself, in close dialogue with the most innovative technologies from D-house, such as Direct-to-Textile 3D printing. Thanks to the partnership between D-house urban laboratory and The Woolmark Company, during the performance, yarns from Filatura Tollegno 1900, as well as those from Millefili Spa based in Carpi, Linsieme Filati, and Dì.Vè will be utilized.
The performance conceived by D-house, together with the artist, is among the most anticipated at the event hosted in the stunning Fortezza da Basso, the quintessential meeting place for the world of international excellence in spinning.
